WorkTaught was created by Joe Burris, a former 30-year veteran journalist. Joe worked as a sportswriter for the Nashville Tennessean and Boston Globe and was a features and education reporter for the Baltimore Sun. Joe also wrote freelance articles for such publications as the Sporting News and National Geographic’s The 10 Best of Everything: An Ultimate Guide for Travelers. Joe has served as a guest lecturer on journalism at colleges in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area.
WorkTaught is Joe’s way of lifting up the voices of people from all walks of life and all professions to show that every job is meaningful and important.
